While everyone else in high school was still trying to figure life out, Madeline had already discovered her calling. She wanted to be a teacher; specifically, a violin teacher. Ever since, she’s been inspiring her own young violin students and honing her teaching philosophy.
Learning music is more than just learning notes. Madeline is not just passionate about passing on the love of music. She wants her students to learn valuable life skills that accompany learning an instrument. Because of her passion, experience, and current study of music performance, theory, and history at the University of Indianapolis, Madeline’s unique approach to teaching was a perfect fit for Gain Music Academy.
Madeline obtained her Bachelors in Violin Performance from the University of Indianapolis and is currently completing her Masters degree at Butler University. Music school keeps Madeline very busy. Even violin teachers need to take lessons and practice. She participates in the UIndy string quartet and the chamber orchestra as well as the annual honors recital.
When she’s not practicing or teaching, you can find her taking a break with friends or family, or tucked away on her couch at home, reading a good book.
